abstract | (57) Abstract: Provided is a liquid developer having excellent image characteristics, which is strongly charged, has less image deletion and background smear. A liquid developer for electrostatic charge development in which toner particles containing a colorant, a binder resin and a charge control agent as main components are dispersed in a carrier liquid having a high insulating property and a low dielectric constant. And an isocyanurate compound having both a tertiary amino group and a polymer chain having excellent affinity for the resin at the molecular terminal. [Effect] Even when the content of the binder resin is large, by using the above-mentioned isocyanurate compound, the toner particles maintain strong charge, and have excellent developing characteristics with less image deletion and background smear. A liquid developer can be obtained. |
