titleOfInvention | New graft copolymer |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a graft copolymer having a high degree of freedom in design and easily obtaining desired characteristics. SOLUTION: A polymerizable composition comprising a compound (I) having a radical polymerizable unsaturated double bond and a peroxide bond and a polymerizable monomer (II) is converted into an azo compound (I II), a first step of radical polymerization in a temperature range where the compound (I) is not decomposed, and subsequently, in the presence of the product obtained in the first step, the polymerizable monomer (I) A reducing compound (V) is added to a polymerizable composition comprising a polymerizable monomer (IV) having a composition different from that of I), and radical polymerization is performed in a temperature range in which the azo compound (III) is not decomposed. A novel graft copolymer in which a trunk polymer is polymerized and formed from the unsaturated double bond of the compound (I) and a branch polymer is formed from the peroxide bond through two steps. |
