(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To use an inhibitor effective for continuously suppressing the scale adhering to the piping and facilities in and around the digester in the kraft pulp manufacturing process of the paper and pulp industry, and to use the same. To provide a method for suppressing scale adhesion. SOLUTION: Maleic acid component, acrylic acid component and 2 A scale adhesion inhibitor of a digester in a kraft pulp manufacturing process including a terpolymer containing an acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid component, and a digester in a kraft pulp manufacturing process by adding the same to a cooking liquor.
