(57) Abstract: A dye-sensitized solar cell having improved conversion efficiency represented by a ratio of a battery output to an incident light amount. An electrode (6) is provided on a back surface of a glass substrate (1), and a light absorbing particle layer (3) on which semiconductor fine particles (31) adsorbing a dye are deposited is formed on a lower surface of the electrode (6). In the dye-sensitized solar cell in which the electrolyte portion 4 is provided on the lower surface of the counter electrode 6 and the counter electrode 5 is provided on the lower surface of the electrolyte portion 4, a high refractive material is provided between the electrode 6 and the light absorbing particle layer 3. A thin film 7 is provided, and a light reflecting particle layer 8 in which high refractive material particles 81 having a controlled particle diameter are deposited on the lower surface of the light absorbing particle layer 3 is provided. |
