Embedded image Embedded image Effect: If the pentaerythritol compound (2) is used, the four-way branched oligonucleotide (1) can be easily obtained by the solid phase phosphoramidite method. This branched oligonucleotide (1) is useful as an antisense molecule because it forms a triple-stranded nucleic acid with various DNAs and RNAs.
