abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for collectively and easily measuring tetrodotoxin compounds, and a monoclonal antibody used for the method. SOLUTION: The method of the present invention comprises (1) a step of neutralizing a test sample after alkali hydrolysis, and (2) 2-amino- 6-hydroxymethyl-8-hydroxyquinazoline (C Measuring the amount of C9 bases in the treatment solution obtained in the step (1) by an immunological measurement method using a monoclonal antibody that specifically reacts with (9 bases); Determining the total amount of the tetrodotoxin compound from the measurements obtained. The monoclonal antibody of the present invention has the general formula (I): (Specific examples are R 1 is a hydrogen atom, R 2 is -CH It prepared using quinazoline compound represented by 2 -S-CH 2 -COOH).
