abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To improve performance such as electromagnetic conversion characteristics and durability of a magnetic recording medium such as a video tape, an audio tape, and a computer tape. SOLUTION: In a coating type magnetic recording medium obtained by applying a magnetic paint in which a magnetic fine powder and a binder are dispersed in a solvent on a non-magnetic support, a specific alicyclic skeleton is used as the binder. A polyester polyurethane resin having a tertiary amine or quaternary ammonium salt was used. |
