abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a 3-substituted cephem compound having a broad spectrum of antibacterial spectrum from industrially easily available 3-halogenomethylcephem compounds, and to easily achieve industrially. The present invention provides a method which can be easily produced depending on reaction conditions. SOLUTION: A halogenomethylcephem compound represented by the general formula (1) is reacted with an alkenyltin compound represented by the general formula (2) in the presence of a cuprous halide and an aromatic amine to obtain a compound represented by the general formula (1). A method for producing a 3-substituted cephem compound, comprising obtaining a 3-substituted cephem compound represented by the formula (3). Embedded image (In the formula, R 1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or the like. R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or the like. R 3 represents a hydrogen atom or a carboxylic acid protecting group. X represents a halogen atom.) R 4 3 SnR 5 (2) (wherein R 4 represents a lower alkyl group, and R 5 represents an alkenyl group which may have a substituent.) (Wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 5 are the same as above)
