titleOfInvention Unfired magnesia-carbon slide plate
abstract (57) [Abstract] (with revisions) [Problem] To improve the material of a slide gate plate for controlling the flow rate of molten metal. SOLUTION: Hexamethylenetetramine is added to a resin composition obtained by adding an alkenyl group of an alkenyl group-containing epoxidized novolak resin and a SiH group of an organopolysiloxane to a compounding raw material for producing a magnesia carbonaceous slide gate plate. Of a silicone-modified phenolic resin obtained by crushing as a binder is added in an amount of 0.5 to 10% by weight, and a non-calcined magnet having high oxidation resistance, obtained by a kneading → molding → drying process. Plate for sheer carbon slide gate.
