titleOfInvention | Method for producing unsaturated hydrocarbon |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing unsaturated hydrocarbons from β, γ-unsaturated alcohols, which can recycle expensive palladium catalyst components. SOLUTION: A β, γ-unsaturated alcohol is reacted with a tertiary amine salt of formic acid in the presence of a catalyst composed of a palladium compound and a tertiary organic phosphorus ligand. A reaction product containing an unsaturated hydrocarbon is distilled off from the reaction mixture by performing a distillation operation, and the remaining unreacted β, γ-unsaturated alcohol, a catalyst component, and an unreacted tertiary amine salt of formic acid At least part of the mixture containing the released tertiary amine is returned to the reactor and used again for the reaction. |
