titleOfInvention Fluorescence detector
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To eliminate a calculation error caused by background light or the like in a fluorescence detection device that corrects a variation in fluorescence intensity depending on a distance between an excitation light irradiation unit and a fluorescence reception unit and a living body observation unit. . A living body observation unit is irradiated with excitation light L1 intermittently emitted from an excitation light irradiation unit. The fluorescence L3 emitted from the living body observation unit 10 is separated into a desired wavelength region and detected by the fluorescence detection means 3 and 4. One component of the fluorescence L3 when the excitation light L1 is irradiated is stored in the memory 5a, and the other component is stored in the memory 6a. One component of the background light when the excitation light L1 is blocked is stored in the memory 5b, and the other component is stored in the memory 6b. The subtraction means 5c determines the component difference between the memories 5a and 5b, and the subtraction means 6c determines the component difference between the memories 6a and 6b. Division means 7 performs division based on the outputs of subtraction means 5c and subtraction means 6c.
