titleOfInvention Transdermal absorption enhancer and external preparation for skin containing the same
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a transdermal absorption enhancer which is less irritating to the skin and has an excellent transdermal absorption promoting action. SOLUTION: An essence obtained from a Labiatae plant, preferably a plant of the genus Lamiaceae or the genus Elshorzia by extraction with a nonpolar to medium-polar solvent or steam distillation is used as a transdermal absorption enhancer. In addition, the percutaneous absorption enhancer is mixed with a skin external preparation containing a medicinal ingredient such as an anti-inflammatory agent and an antibacterial agent.
