abstract | (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] An image recording apparatus provided with a microtunnel which does not require a large electric potential at the anode and which does not depend on the shape of the microtunnel. SOLUTION: A recording surface 26a is provided, and a microtunnel 150 is provided adjacent to the recording surface. Each microhead is provided with an anode 160 disposed near the recording surface. And a voltage source that varies the voltage at the anode, with a cathode 162 disposed therebetween and with a gas plasma generated therebetween, thereby recording an image on the recording surface. |
