abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To control the speed of a slide sliding on a water slide by supplying a jet stream. SOLUTION: A flow forming nozzle 24 is employed in a water slide, and has a take-in part and a discharge part. The intake is adapted to receive pressurized water from a water source 22. The outlet is in fluid communication with one or more elongated openings 28. The opening 28 has an overall shape and configuration that matches the cross section of the sliding surface 25 of the water slide. The opening 28 is a slide 2 that slides the sheet-like jet stream 30 on the slide toward the water slide. The speed of the slide 29 can be increased or decreased or maintained by throwing in the direction substantially parallel to the direction 9. |
