Method for producing unsaturated alcohol |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Problem] Formula (2) (In the above formula, X and Y both represent a hydrogen atom or together represent a carbon-carbon bond. N represents 0, 1 or 2.) Hydrogenation at a sufficiently high reaction rate yields the formula (1) (Where n is as defined above) wherein the unsaturated alcohol represented by the formula: SOLUTION: Raney nickel (a) modified with iron and chromium and tertiary amine or pyridine compound In the presence of (b), catalytic hydrogenation of the unsaturated aldehyde represented by the above formula (2) is performed. |
