abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer composition containing carrier particles having substantially constant electric conductivity and having a wide range of triboelectric charge. SOLUTION: The developer composition comprises a core and a first material on the core. Consisting of a mixture of a polymer and a second polymer, the first polymer includes a conductive component and the second polymer includes copper iodide. Copper iodide is about 7 parts by weight based on the amount of the second polymer and copper iodide. Cuprous iodide is present in an amount of 5 to about 95% by weight.
