(57) [Summary] [Problem] A liquid detergent composition for kitchen surroundings that has excellent detergency and rinsing property against inorganic stains, oil stains and the like generated in a kitchen and has a good finish without damaging the substrate surface. SOLUTION: (a) 0.01 to 10% by weight of a cationic surfactant, (b) 1 to 20% by weight of a metal chelating agent, (c) 0.5 to 10% by weight of a water-soluble solvent and (d) 0.01 of a thickening polysaccharide.
