abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] When charging after being subjected to severe conditions such as being left in a discharged state for a long period of time while being incorporated in an electronic device or being stored for a long time at a high temperature. Another object of the present invention is to provide a nickel-metal hydride storage battery in which the voltage does not decrease from the early stage to the middle stage of charging. A negative electrode, a positive electrode containing nickel hydroxide and a conductive cobalt compound, and an alkaline electrolyte, wherein the negative electrode has three or more types of hydrogen storage alloys having different plateau pressures at a constant temperature. And an n-th (where n is a natural number of 2 or more) high plateau pressure P n (a tm), and the n-1st highest plateau pressure is P n-1 (a tm), equation (1); 0.01 <log (P n / P n-1 ) <1.5. |
