abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer image having improved halftone dot reproducibility of a transfer image forming material for forming a transfer image by performing exposure (back exposure) from a side opposite to a side having a photosensitive layer on a support. Provide a forming material and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A transfer image forming material provided with a photosensitive layer on a transparent support is image-exposed from the transparent support side, and an image formed on the transparent support is transferred to a transfer receiving medium to form a transferred image. In the forming material, a plurality of layers provided between the transparent support and the photosensitive layer, for example, an anchor layer, a cushion layer, The transfer image forming material, wherein the refractive index of each release layer is smaller than the refractive index of the transparent support, and the absolute value of the difference between the refractive indices is less than 0.07. This is achieved by a transfer image forming material, wherein the cushion layer is formed with a coating liquid having an absolute value of a difference between solubility parameters of the cushion layer and the coating solvent of less than 1.5. |
