abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery having a uniform composition and a high discharge capacity. SOLUTION: A lithium acetate aqueous solution, a manganese acetate aqueous solution, and a citric acid aqueous solution are mixed to form a citric acid complex having a high Mn 2+ ion concentration, which is dehydrated, heated, and calcined, so as to have a uniform composition and discharge. Composition formula L with high capacity The positive electrode active material of the i x Mn 2 O 4 (0 <X <2) is obtained. The mixing ratio of citric acid in the citric acid complex solution is preferably about 110%, which is equal to or higher than the total valence of lithium ions and manganese ions, which are cations, in order to obtain a higher discharge capacity.
