PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing chlorine in oil, which can efficiently separate chlorine in cracked oil recovered by a waste plastic pyrolysis oil conversion method and recover high quality cracked oil. I do. SOLUTION: A chlorine-containing oil is brought into contact with iron oxide or its hydrate to react or adsorb chlorine in the oil with iron oxide or its hydrate, thereby removing chlorine in the oil. |
