PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a gene encoding a novel ligand for a receptor tyrosine kinase ErbB, to identify the expression site of this gene in a tissue, and to elucidate its function in a living body. Provides use for pharmaceutical and diagnostic applications. The present invention relates to a receptor tyrosine kinase Er. It consists of a gene encoding a novel ligand of bB, NTAK, and its gene product. The present invention provides a therapeutic or diagnostic agent useful for neurological diseases, cancer diseases or other diseases. |
