abstract | (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] An oligomer which can introduce crystallinity in a relatively short time, can use a catalyst which does not contain a substantial amount of alkali metal, and has a relatively low molecular weight The present invention provides an improved method for solid-state polymerization of polycarbonate, which can use an oligomer intermediate having a wide range of terminal group concentrations. A method for producing a polycarbonate, comprising: (A) a step of converting a precursor polycarbonate into a highly crystalline precursor polycarbonate; and (B) a step of polymerizing the highly crystalline precursor polycarbonate in a solid state. The precursor polycarbonate is brought into contact with a dihydroxy aromatic compound or the like, and the conversion of the precursor polycarbonate into a highly crystalline precursor polycarbonate is brought into contact with a catalytic amount of a compound such as a tetraalkylammonium hydroxide to form a highly crystalline precursor polycarbonate. Is carried out by contacting with a catalytic amount of a tetraalkylammonium or the like. |
