titleOfInvention Water treatment catalyst and water treatment method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance, easy-to-handle water treatment catalyst capable of performing water treatment easily and quickly and continuously under mild conditions and an economical water purification method. . SOLUTION: The catalyst for water treatment of the present invention is characterized in that the surface of a porous body is coated with a titanium oxide film, and an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide, ozone, or oxygen is adsorbed. This is placed in the water to be treated, which is contaminated with environmental pollutants, and irradiated with light while stirring, etc., to efficiently adsorb the environmental pollutants. The pores react with oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide, ozone, and oxygen that are adsorbed to generate active oxygen species with an extremely large oxidation potential, and their powerful oxidizing power enables rapid and efficient removal of environmental pollutants. It can be detoxified by oxidative decomposition to carbon dioxide.
