abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a solid golf ball having improved feeling at the time of hitting a ball without impairing excellent flight performance. SOLUTION: In a multi-piece solid golf ball having a core, at least one intermediate layer formed around the core, and a cover covering the intermediate layer, at least one of the intermediate layers is made of an ionomer resin and a terminal. The main component is a heated mixture of at least two of the three components of a thermoplastic elastomer having an -OH group added thereto, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer or an styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer containing an epoxy group. And the hardness of the intermediate layer is 40 in JIS-C hardness. Up to 80, the hardness difference from the center of the core to the surface -Within 15 in C hardness. The cover is preferably composed mainly of an ionomer resin. |
