A dye thermal transfer sheet having a sheet-like support, an image receiving layer for receiving a dye on one side of the support, and a backside coating layer containing a conductive substance on the other side of the support, wherein the backside is provided. A dye heat transfer receiving sheet characterized in that a water-soluble resin and / or a water-dispersible resin is used as a binder of a coating layer, and zirconium ammonium carbonate is used as a water-proofing agent.
