abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] The water treatment that has flowed out of an ozone contact pond 1 contains ozone, so directly exhausting ozone has an adverse effect, and therefore requires equipment for decomposing ozone. An electron beam irradiation device (6) for irradiating an electron beam (6b) to water to be treated passing through an overflow wall (1d) provided in an ozone contact pond (1) for mixing ozone gas and water to be treated is provided. [Effect] By irradiating the electron beam 6b to the overflow wall 1d having a shallow depth of the water to be treated, only a small irradiation energy is required and a small electron beam irradiation device 6 can be used. The total construction cost can be reduced.
