abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nigrosine-based charge control improved in charge rising property and stability, environment independence, non-offset property and fixing property when used for toner, heat resistance and light resistance. And a toner for developing an electrostatic image containing the charge controlling agent. SOLUTION: CI Solvent Black 7 or CI Solvent Black 5, (a) sulfonic acid, (b) Sulfate ester type, (c) phosphate ester type and (d) carboxylic acid type anionic organic compounds having surface activity [however, saturated or unsaturated fatty acids among carboxylic acid type anionic organic compounds having surface activity] (Salts) are excluded. And a charge controlling agent containing as an active ingredient a nigrosine compound obtained by reaction with one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of: and a toner for developing an electrostatic image containing the charge controlling agent. |
