abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and improved pigment dispersibility as a conventional technique, there are various pigment compositions composed of a pigment and a pigment derivative or a dye, but the improvement of the dispersion fluidity is insufficient. . SOLUTION: The pigment composition characterized by containing a pigment and a specific chain or cyclic amide compound usually used for a solvent or other purposes such as formamide, γ-butyrolactam and the like. The present invention provides a pigment composition characterized by containing a substance, or a pigment and a pigment derivative or a dye and the amide compound. A pigment dispersion obtained by dispersing the above-mentioned pigment composition with a solvent or the like greatly improves pigment dispersibility and dispersion fluidity. When these pigment compositions and pigment dispersions are used for color filters, a uniform coating film having high contrast can be obtained. |
