abstract (57) Abstract: The present invention relates to a light emitting device used for a backlight, an illuminated operation switch, lighting, and the like, and in particular, a high luminance capable of emitting light with very little color unevenness, color shift and luminance unevenness. The present invention relates to a light emitting device and a display device using the same. The present invention provides a light-emitting element in which a light-emitting layer is at least a nitride-based compound semiconductor, and absorbs at least a part of light emitted from the light-emitting element to emit light having a longer wavelength than light emitted from the light-emitting element. In a light emitting device having a color conversion member and a display device using the same, the color conversion member has an organic fluorescent dye and an inorganic fluorescent pigment.
