titleOfInvention Dilatant fluid
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] Even when a dilatant fluid is left standing for a long time, Inorganic particles constituting a dilatant fluid can be kept in a good dispersion state in a liquid. The sphericity is 1.1 or less and the particle size is 0.05 μm. It is a dilatant fluid comprising inorganic particles of about 5 μm, a liquid held between the inorganic particles, and a gelling agent. The gelling agent preferably contains a monovalent or divalent cation, an aliphatic amine, and if necessary, a linear aliphatic amine having 3 to 12 carbon atoms. The gelling agent imparts suitable thixotropic properties to the dilatant fluid, and when the dilatant fluid is left standing for a long period of time, it gels to prevent sedimentation of the inorganic particles and maintain a suitable dispersed state.
