titleOfInvention | Norbornene ring-opening polymer |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a norbornene-based ring-opened polymer having a high molecular weight, a sharp molecular weight distribution, no gel, and good processability, which is suitable as a raw material for optical materials. SOLUTION: It has a repeating unit represented by the general formula (2), (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 are the same or different from each other and represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and m represents an integer of 0 to 2.) The number average molecular weight Mn is 10,000 to 50,000. A solvent-soluble norbornene-based ring-opened polymer having a weight average molecular weight Mw of 0 and a number average molecular weight Mn of 3 or less (Mw / Mn). |
