SOLUTION: Triacontanol is produced by culturing microalgae belonging to the genus Botryococcus and having the ability to produce triacontanol, and recovering the triacontanol from the obtained cultured alga bodies. The Botryococcus brownies of the present invention are novel Botryococcus algae having triacontanol-producing ability. |
