titleOfInvention Method for producing triacontanol
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing triacontanol using a microalga belonging to the genus botuliococcus without using a synthesis method and a novel botulococcus having an ability to produce triacontanol. Provide microalgae belonging to the genus. SOLUTION: Triacontanol is produced by culturing microalgae belonging to the genus Botryococcus and having the ability to produce triacontanol, and recovering the triacontanol from the obtained cultured alga bodies. The Botryococcus brownies of the present invention are novel Botryococcus algae having triacontanol-producing ability.
