titleOfInvention | Glycosyl calcitonin derivatives, their preparation and intermediates |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Problem] Not only can the activity and function of calcitonin be improved, but it can also be used as a raw material for the synthesis of calcitonin having a long natural sugar chain utilizing the sugar chain transfer reaction of endoglycosidase. Provided is a derivative in which N-acetylglucosamine is glycosylated on calcitonin and a technique for producing the same. Kind Code: A1 N-acetylglucosamine is added to the nitrogen atom of the side chain amide group of the asparagine residue at the 3-position of eel calcitonin. A glycosyl calcitonin derivative represented by the following formula, wherein (GlcNAc) is glycosylated, and a method for producing the same. And an intermediate represented by the following formula. (In the formula, Acm represents an acetamidomethyl group.) |
