titleOfInvention Electrostatic image developing carrier, developer and developing method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrostatic image development, a developer, and a developing method which can stably exhibit good charge rising characteristics over a long period of time and do not cause toner scattering or image fogging. SOLUTION: The carrier for developing an electrostatic image is characterized in that the content of magnesium atoms in the surface portion of the carrier for developing an electrostatic image is in the range of 2.0 to 25.0 (atomic number%). The carrier and a developer for developing an electrostatic image, comprising a toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, and forming the developer layer on a developer carrier using the developer. Electrostatic image development method for developing an electrostatic image on an electrostatic image carrier by using an electrostatic charge image developing method.
