abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material which can be processed with low replenishment and a low replenishment, and a light-sensitive material free of processing waste and a processing method therefor. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic material contains a compound represented by the following general formula (1) in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer. In the formula, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an optionally substituted alkoxy group or an aryloxy group. n represents an integer of 0 to 100. A method for processing a silver halide photographic material, wherein the developer contains at least one compound represented by the above general formula (1). An organic silver salt photographic material containing the compound represented by the general formula (1). In a processing method for developing in the presence of water in combination with a sheet containing physical development nuclei, the sheet contains a compound represented by the following general formula (2). |
