abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide an expanded graphite-based packing that maintains a high sealing property even when used for a long time at a high temperature. SOLUTION: This is an expanded graphite packing which is a single substance of expanded graphite or a composite of expanded graphite and a metal wire, and contains a phosphorus-based, boron-based or iron oxide-based flame retardant. The inclusion of the above flame retardant improves the oxidation resistance of the packing at high temperatures, and can prevent the sealing performance of the packing from decreasing. |
