abstract (57) [Summary] A separator using a polyolefin nonwoven fabric which has been hydrophilized by sulfonation has a problem in water absorption, and a polyolefin separator which has been hydrophilized by means other than sulfonation is used. However, self-discharge could not be suppressed as much as when a sulfonated polyolefin separator was used. SOLUTION: This is a nonwoven fabric separator made of a polyolefin fiber obtained by graft polymerization of various acrylic acids, wherein the fiber is made into a fiber by blowing a molten softened product of a polyolefin in an air stream to produce a fiber.
