titleOfInvention | How to make fertilizer from seafood waste |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To reduce the cost of equipment and maintenance, to remove heavy metals from seafood waste to below safety standards, and to produce fertilizer with high fertilizer efficiency. . SOLUTION: An anaerobic bacterium, an aerobic bacterium, a sulfide bacterium, a sulfate bacterium, a nitrite bacterium, and a compounding material are added to a seafood waste and mixed with stirring. The mixture is drained in order to remove the water contained in the resulting mixture. The drained mixture is placed in a fermenter for a desired number of days, during which time it is turned over at least once a day to decompose the mixture while controlling the temperature and to evaporate the water in the mixture by the heat of fermentation. Finally, the mixture, which has been dried to the desired moisture content, is further dried to form a powder or granules. |
