(57) Abstract: Provided is a polynucleotide useful for detecting or amplifying a polynucleotide of hepatitis C virus. SOLUTION: A polynucleotide probe for detecting a hepatitis C virus polynucleotide, and a PCR primer for amplifying the polynucleotide. The probe and PCR primer have at least 15 A contiguous sequence of at least 15 nucleotides, wherein the contiguous sequence of at least 15 nucleotides is capable of selectively hybridizing to the polynucleotide sequence of hepatitis C virus, and comprising the C-type sequence disclosed herein. Obtained from either strand of the hepatitis virus polynucleotide sequence. |
