titleOfInvention Nickel electrode for alkaline storage battery
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a γ-NiOO at a nickel electrode for an alkaline storage battery even when charging and discharging are repeatedly performed. Generation of H is suppressed, and expansion of the positive electrode is reduced, so that an alkaline storage battery having excellent charge / discharge cycle characteristics can be obtained. SOLUTION: In a nickel electrode for an alkaline storage battery, An active material in which an amorphous layer composed of nickel hydroxide and manganese hydroxide was formed on the surface of particles mainly composed of nickel hydroxide was used.
