abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-density foam comprising a modified polypropylene resin composition having improved foaming properties, a high closed cell ratio, a beautiful appearance, and excellent cushioning properties. SOLUTION: A polypropylene resin and a radical generator are injected into an extruder under pressure of at least one monomer selected from an aromatic vinyl monomer, an isoprene monomer and a 1,3-butadiene monomer. Is melt-kneaded to obtain a modified polypropylene resin composition, which is impregnated with an evaporative foaming agent, and then melt-extruded. |
