abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Problem] A biodegradable foam molding that is easy to perform in-mold molding when shaping into various molded articles such as a heat insulating material, a cushioning material, a food packaging material, and has excellent mechanical properties. Provided is a production method by which a product can be obtained. SOLUTION: When foamed particles made of a cellulose derivative are filled in a mold and subjected to heat shaping, a plasticizer of the cellulose derivative is previously attached to the foamed particle surface at 3 to 30% by weight (based on the weight of the foamed particles). Thereby, the surfaces of the foam particles are thermoplasticized and fused. |
