titleOfInvention | Plutonium (trivalent) ion selective electrode |
abstract | (57) Abstract: Plutonium (trivalent) ions have a high accuracy, b are in a wide concentration range, c are minimally affected by interactions due to differences in valence, and d are continuous. e Plutonium (trivalent) can be easily created by remote control in special facilities such as glove box and cell without pretreatment of sample solution An object is to provide an ion selective electrode. SOLUTION: In an ion-selective electrode, a hydrophobic cationic complex formed by binding a plutonium (trivalent) ion and a neutral ligand is used as a high dielectric constant by using a hydrophobic anion as a counter ion. Plutonium (trivalent) ion concentration is quantified by providing a sensitive liquid film portion dissolved in an organic solvent having a specific ratio and measuring the potential difference generated in the sensitive liquid film portion. This is solved by the provision of an ion selective electrode. |
