titleOfInvention | Polymerization method of vinyl chloride |
abstract | (57) 【Abstract】 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: By heating both a vinyl chloride-based monomer and an aqueous medium at the same time, the charging time and the temperature rising time per one batch of polymerization can be significantly shortened and further refluxed. When carrying out suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride resin in a large-scale polymerization machine equipped with a condenser, it prevents foaming during operation of the reflux condenser, and thereby prevents scale from adhering to the inner wall of the polymerization vessel and the reflux condenser wall. Provided is a method for polymerizing vinyl chloride, which can prevent the production of vinyl chloride resin having excellent workability without glass beads or coarse particles. SOLUTION: When a vinyl chloride monomer alone or a vinyl chloride monomer and a monomer copolymerizable therewith are polymerized, the vinyl chloride monomer or chloride is heated to a predetermined polymerization temperature ± 5 ° C. A mixture of a vinyl monomer and a monomer copolymerizable therewith and an aqueous medium heated to a predetermined polymerization temperature of ± 5 ° C. are simultaneously charged into the polymerization vessel from the top of the reflux condenser column. |
