abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a heat-sensitive recording material having reduced friction and ruled line deviation in a heat-sensitive recording apparatus using a serial printing method, and having excellent color density and head matching. A thermosensitive recording material comprising a support, a thermosensitive coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a color developing agent as main components, and a protective layer containing a pigment and a resin as main components, which are sequentially laminated on the thermosensitive coloring layer. The pigment in the protective layer is a mixture of a pigment having a particle diameter of 1.0 times or more the thickness of the protective layer and a pigment having a particle diameter of less than 1.0 times the thickness of the protective layer, and the thickness of the protective layer. A heat-sensitive recording material characterized in that the pigment having a particle size of 1.0 times or more of the above is an organic pigment. |
