titleOfInvention | Reversible thermosensitive recording medium |
abstract | (57) Abstract: In a reversible thermosensitive recording medium utilizing the reaction between a color former and a color developer, it is possible to develop color easily and with high thermal response only by heating, and at the room temperature of a color image. (EN) Provided are a reversible thermosensitive recording medium which is excellent in erasability over time, has high repetitive characteristics of coloring and erasing, and is easy to produce, and a method for producing the same. A recording layer and a protective layer (or a protective layer with an intermediate layer interposed) are sequentially laminated on a support, and the recording layer decolorizes an electron-donating color-developing compound, an electron-accepting compound, and the like. A reversible thermosensitive recording medium which contains an accelerator and a binder as main components and develops a color when heated and is erased when left at room temperature contains a water-absorbing polymer in the recording layer and a layer adjacent to the recording layer. Characteristic reversible thermosensitive recording medium. |
