titleOfInvention | Method for producing silver halide emulsion |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing a high-silver chloride emulsion having little fog, high spectral sensitization sensitivity and excellent rapid processability. SOLUTION: A silver halide grain having at least 50 mol% of silver chloride and 30% or more of its surface area consisting of (111) faces is formed in the presence of a cationic crystal habit controlling agent, and then anionic precipitation is performed. A method for producing a silver halide emulsion, which comprises washing with water and desalting in the absence of an agent. |
