Water absorbing agent |
abstract |
(57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To obtain a water-absorbing agent composed of a water-absorbent resin having a high water absorption amount and excellent gel stability after absorbing a body fluid. A water-absorbing agent comprising a water-absorbing resin obtained by radical-polymerizing a water-soluble radically polymerizable monomer having an acid group or a salt thereof and optionally a polysaccharide in the presence of water with a crosslinking agent, The water-absorbent resin uses 0.0001 to 1% by weight of the thiol compound having a radical-polymerizable double bond as a polymerization component with respect to the water-soluble radical-polymerizable monomer. |
