abstract | (57) Abstract: A novel chlorophyll-based compound and a method for producing the same. Additives for artificial feed of silkworms and raw materials for artificial feed of silkworms containing a novel chlorophyll compound as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: A solution of chlorophyll in a hydrophilic organic solvent is mixed with water in the presence of an amino acid or a water-soluble nickel salt to adjust the concentration of the hydrophilic organic solvent to 65 to 85% by weight, followed by extraction with a non-hydrophilic organic solvent. The extract is subjected to purification treatment to isolate a novel chlorophyll compound. |
